Utilizing Snapcast Mode to Share Remote Whiteboard and Notebook Scans

Snapcast Mode  is a feature in the Rocketbook app that allows you to share any whiteboard or notebook page with remote students.  It’s essentially a website that immediately updates with new content any time you scan your notes!

Snapcast Mode provides a live snapshot of your work which can help improve communication with remote students!

The app’s Snapcast Mode sends live snapshot updates of your work to your unique URL.  Share that URL with your students and they’ll be able to view your whiteboard or notebook page in real time.  Beyond dramatically improving the ease of instant sharing, Snapcast Mode also allows your whole class to access and download scans after the lesson via your individual URL, any of our integrated cloud storage options, or directly to their emails with the touch of one button.

Simply tap the Snapcast icon  in the Rocketbook app and your unique URL will appear, ready to be shared with students.  

How to Enter Snapcast Mode

• Tap the Snapcast icon  at the top of the app screen
• Scan your Beacons whiteboard or Rocketbook notebook page
• Tap the "more actions" menu  next to your link, then "Share Snapcast URL"
• Share your link with remote students

If you update your whiteboard or change the notes on the page, simply scan it again in Snapcast Mode and your Snapcast URL will automatically refresh to show the most recent scan!
