The QR code printed on Rocketbook pages is there to help our Rocketbook app “find” the page during the scan process. The data that the app retrieves from the QR code includes page size and the version of your notebook. Knowing the version of the notebook you’re scanning helps us troubleshoot any potential issues that might come your way.
If you ever have trouble scanning a specific page in your notebook, it is likely because the QR code is covered with FriXion ink. Make sure that the QR code stays clean by erasing over it when you wipe down your Core, Fusion, Flip, Mini or Orbit. Sometimes ink will mix with the water and collect on the QR code, so erasing over the code ensures that your QR code stays clean and your scans come out perfect!
