It's best practice to set up a “Rocketbook” folder in your cloud service of choice before you scan your Rocketbook notebook or whiteboard. For the best results, try to create nested folders within the Rocketbook folder for each of your destinations to make sure all your different notes are properly filed away.
Here's how you can be using this:
- Students can set up a “Class Notes” folder for each class you’re taking. Unused icons are great as folders for saving homework or study guides!
- For work, you can have “Project Notes” folders for each project you’re working on. You can also use the Rocketbook to send handwritten notes to clients via email!
- At home, you can set up different folders for grocery lists, quick notes, journaling, and doodles!
We suggest organizing your destinations alphabetically by folder name. This way you can run through your destinations in your head while filling your notebook with notes and sketches!
Customizing Your Scan File Name
Another feature within the Rocketbook app is the ability to change the File Naming Template for all future scans. To edit your File Naming Template, go to Settings > File Naming Template. You can build a naming template with a combination of dynamic blocks and text to create a naming template that suits you.
